No. 02 The plates

Not mock-ups. Output.

Every figure below is a real export from a LedgerIQ session — the same screens you get sixty seconds after upload.

DuPont analysis tree: return on equity of 186.7 percent decomposed into net profit margin 14.9 percent, asset turnover 3.78 times and equity multiplier 3.31 times, with a component contribution bar
Fig. 01 DuPont decomposition. ROE traced to margin × turnover × leverage — so you can say which lever is doing the work.
Cash flow analysis: operating, investing, financing and net change bars plus a twelve-month monthly cash flow timeline
Fig. 02 Cash flow statement, derived indirectly from the GL with a month-by-month timeline.
Liquidity command centre: current, quick and cash ratios, defensive interval of 110 days, assets versus liabilities by account, and plain-English key insights
Fig. 03 Liquidity command centre. Ratios, stress testing and a 110-day defensive interval — annotated in plain English.
Margin analysis: gross, contribution, operating, EBITDA and net margins with sparklines, a profit margin waterfall from revenue to net income, and a margin performance corridor against industry targets
Fig. 04 Margin waterfall & corridor. Five margins tracked against industry target ranges, revenue to net income.
Revenue insights: gross revenue mix donut across five channels, channel ledger with lead channel at 63.2 percent share, concentration index and monthly channel trend
Fig. 05 Revenue insights. Channel mix, concentration risk and seasonality — spotted from the ledger alone.
What-if CVP scenario planner: sliders for revenue, variable and fixed cost changes feeding net profit, break-even revenue, margin of safety and operating leverage, with a profit waterfall
Fig. 06 What-if CVP planner. Drag the sliders; break-even, margin of safety and leverage re-model live.
Business valuation: estimated worth range of 2.4 to 4.9 million pounds from 10,000 Monte Carlo scenarios, with six detailed valuation methods including DCF, EBITDA multiple and net asset value
Fig. 07 Valuation engine. Six methods, 10,000 Monte Carlo scenarios, a defensible range — a structured first pass, not a substitute for judgement.
Financial health scoring: composite score of 85 with Piotroski F-Score 7 out of 9, alongside the RiQ assistant writing the performance summary and strategic recommendations

No. 04 The copilot

RiQ reads the numbers with you

Ask in plain English. RiQ navigates the modules, reads your actual figures, and writes the report.

  • — 01

    It drives

“Show me profitability” — RiQ opens the right modules and explains what it finds.

  • — 02

    It reads your data

Answers come from your ledger, not a help page — and it flags anomalies before you ask.

  • — 03

    It writes the report

One request and RiQ tours 10+ modules, then compiles the board-ready narrative.

§ Why we mean it

The GL knows.
You should know first.

“If LedgerIQ can’t show you something you didn’t already know about your own books, you don’t owe us anything.”
Proactive

Every module runs on upload. The three things worth worrying about surface before the meeting starts.

Established method

Altman, Piotroski, DuPont, CVP — the formulae analysts and lenders already trust.

Board-ready

One-click PDF board pack. Walk in with the briefing already printed.

No. 05 Method

Three steps. No integration.

Step 01 · Export

Any platform

CSV or XLSX from Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, Pandle — anywhere a GL can leave the building.

Step 02 · Upload

Enrich in seconds

Accounts are classified automatically; RiQ asks about anything ambiguous.

Step 03 · Read

42 lenses

Dashboards, forecasts, the valuation, the anomalies — and the PDF board pack.

Your ledger stays yours. Analysis runs client-side in your browser; transfers are AES-256 encrypted and session data is purged after analysis — nothing is kept unless you save a snapshot.

Frequently asked

What is LedgerIQ?
A financial analysis engine in the IQ Suite. It turns a raw GL export into statements, ratios, forecasts and reports — instantly.
Does it work with my software?
Yes. If you can export a general ledger, nominal ledger or trial balance detail as CSV or Excel, LedgerIQ can analyse it — Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, Pandle and more.
How much does it cost?
2,000 credits per full report. Starter (£5/mo, 5,000 credits) covers two analyses a month; Accountant (25,000) covers twelve.
Is my data secure?
Yes. AES-256 encryption throughout, and detailed transaction data isn’t kept beyond the session unless you save a snapshot.
Can I download reports?
Yes — PDF board packs, Excel exports and chart images for any module.
Do I need accounting knowledge?
No. Every metric comes with a plain-English explanation, and RiQ guides any data enrichment.
How often can I upload?
As often as you like — no upload limits. Most users run it monthly; some weekly.
Does it work with ReconcileIQ and CodeIQ?
Yes, all four ship on every plan: ReconcileIQ proves the data, CodeIQ builds the ledger, LedgerIQ reads it, and PrepIQ prepares the year-end set. One set-up covers the suite.
